2 Feb 2010I’m so proud of E. He has known his letters for over a year. He’s watched Leap Frog Letter Factory over and over and knows what each letters says. But just this past week the whole reading thing has started to make sense to him.
His teacher sent home a booklet for us to go over with him. While I love his teacher, I don’t think we share the same humor.

She can’t contain it. She told me after the 2nd note she has a problem containing her sillies and that they just keep coming out.

Me and Z enjoyed a little outing today to go grocery shopping and spend some Gym-bucks.
“Mom, we need to spend more days together. Just you, me – NO BOYS because boys aren’t good for anything.”
I told her, “Z, boys are good for things – I mean without them we would have to do things like change our own light bulbs.”
She quickly reminded me that her Dad has not changed the light bulbs in her fan and she has been in the dark for the last month, and then said “I told you boys aren’t good for anything.”
Our little princess. So glad we are having another boy. I’m not sure our castle could stand the competition between Princess Z and another.
I received some sample newborn diapers today. HOW WEE ARE THESE? This is the diapers next to a HALF-PINT Ozarka bottle. 9 weeks I am sure I’ll be over how cute and wee these little things are.
Seriously, I’m thinking I need to track how many diapers I change in the first year (or at least the first month).
Wow, we’re going to be parents again. Oh CRAP. (pun intended.)
